Introduction
The Passport Office, Visakhapatnam was opened in January, 1997 after bifurcating from the Passport Office, Hyderabad to serve the people of the five north coastal districts of Andhra Pradesh viz., West Godavari, East Godavari, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam.

News and Announcements

Online Payment has been made mandatory for booking appointments at Passport Seva Kendra(s) under this Passport Office. Click here for details.
  1. Categories of Applicants allowed as “Walk-In with ARN”

    Following mentioned categories of applicants are allowed as “Walk-in Applicants”. Applicants falling under these categories need to register Online, fill in the online application form and generate Application Reference Number (ARN) at least one day in advance before visiting the PSK. Such applicants may visit the PSK with required set of documents and a copy of printed ARN sheet between 9 AM to 11 AM
    1. Applicants for issue of police clearance certificate (PCCs)
    2. Deletion of ECR status in passports without any change in personal particulars
    3. Inclusion of spouse name in the passport
    4. Applicants for tatkaal services with Verification Certificate (fresh/re-issue cases)
    5. Applicants with valid passports seeking new booklets in case of exhausting of Visa pages
    6. Senior Citizens (above 60 years)
    7. Minors below 15 years whose parents hold valid passports
    8. Physically challenged persons
    9. Central/state government servants, their spouses and dependants, minor children who have ‘No Objection certificate’/ Identity certificate.
